Sandringham Stakes 2026
The Sandringham Stakes is one of the most competitive fillies’ handicaps of Royal Ascot. Run over 1 mile, it usually rewards a progressive three-year-old filly with a strong recent profile, enough tactical speed to hold a position and the ability to stay on strongly in a huge-field straight-course handicap.
This year’s renewal has two clear trends horses in Glyfada and Zooming, who both achieved a perfect 15/15 match. However, the wider Turf Talk model also gives strong respect to True Test, Darn Hot Gallop, Seet, Bintaziza, Harlequin Angel, Passing Thought and Quiet Mutiny.
The star-rating table below follows the same expanded format as the previous Royal Ascot race pages, with trends, ratings, speed, trainer angles and overall profile all combined into one final view.

Final Turf Talk Filter
The final shortlist is headed by Glyfada, True Test, Darn Hot Gallop, Seet, Bintaziza, Harlequin Angel, Passing Thought and Zooming.
Glyfada comes out on top because she is a perfect 15/15 trends match, is still unbeaten and has Oisin Murphy booked. Her Topspeed figure is lower than ideal, but the profile is very much the right type for this race.
True Test is the biggest ratings and speed danger. She has the joint-highest RPR and the best Topspeed figure in the field. The concern is that her trends score is only 11/15.
Darn Hot Gallop also has a very strong RPR/TS blend and comes from a James Tate yard in excellent form, but the 10/15 trends score prevents her from topping the table.
Seet is the obvious trends danger with a 14/15 score, Ryan Moore booked and a progressive Gosden profile, while Bintaziza and Passing Thought have strong stable angles.
