Bangor Racecourse

The Course

Bangor is a left handed track and is of oval shape. It is about 1 mile and 4 furlongs in distance. The course is very tight and some undulations are present. A circuit of the race course consists of nine fences and two of the fences are open ditches and one is a water jump.

This enclosure incorporates the Pre-Parade, Parade Ring and Winner’s Enclosure, as well as fantastic views of the home straight. How To Get To Bangor

By Road: 

Take the M6 and then take the A525 to Whitchurch. If you are travelling from the South you should use the A5.

By Train:

The nearest station to Bangor Racecourse is Wrexham.This is approximately 4 miles from the track. There is a free bus service available from Wrexham Station to the racecourse on all race days.
