Final Selections
Cool Hoof Luke
The ratings put him on top once all factors are combined. His York record, course and distance win, good-ground suitability and the Balding/Murphy combination all point towards a very solid chance in this Group 2 sprint.
Time For Sandals
She has the strongest RPR in the field and Ryan Moore is a major positive. The slight concern is her good-ground record, but on class and overall profile she looks one of the most likely runners to be involved late.
Regional
One of the strongest historical profile horses in the race and already proven at York. Trainer form is the main reason he is not ranked higher, but his back class and race fit keep him firmly in the mix.
Verdict
Cool Hoof Luke rates as the strongest overall fit on the Turf Talk model, with Time For Sandals the main danger on class and Regional boosted by one of the strongest trends profiles in the field. Elmonjed remains a major player thanks to his excellent York, distance and good-ground record.
